We have created a range of eLearning modules aimed at Site Engineers. These courses cover the content of some of our practical and classroom courses. They can be used as standalone modules for those who already have some experience and want to refresh or deepen their knowledge and also act as a resource to support to our in-person courses.

All our eLearning instructors are CITB Approved trainers and delivering our face-to-face training. Our eLearning modules have been designed to mirror the content their equivalent training courses.
The learning outcomes of our eLearning modules can be applied to all aspects of construction including earthworks, road construction, buildings and houses, foundations, structures and reinforced concrete.

Setting Out For Construction

Setting Out for Construction is an online resource which teaches you the basics of setting out using a level and total station. The course includes over 4.5 hours of video content. Good setting out is not just about achieving the required accuracy, but about getting the work done quickly, efficiently and professionally. The aim of Setting Out for Construction Online is to enable Engineers to follow good practice, record all your work in a standardised way with all the correct checks in place and keepevidence of them.

AutoCAD For Site Engineers

Over 6 hours of video tutorials aimed at Site Engineers, taking you from the basics up to advanced level. This online course is provided free of charge as a support to our 2 -day in-person CITB Assured Course, CAD for Site Engineers. It can also be used as a standalone course for those who prefer to learn from videos. We only recommend site engineers use AutoCAD if they don’t have any other option. It does not have the same functionality as the other the other survey software's (e.g LSS, n4ce, Civil 3D or TBC) therefore cannot do many critical tasks.

Civil 3D

Over 9.5 hours of video tutorials aimed at Site Engineers. This e-Learning course has all of the AutoCAD e-Learning videos AND Civil 3D specific content which means even if you have never used AutoCAD before, you can become a competent Civil 3D user by the end of this course. The content starts at a very basic level and becomes more advanced as the course progresses. You can post questions if you are unsure about any of the content and one of our trainers will answer as soon as possible.
